     Whether you are shooting photos, movies or writing songs, it's essential to "Tell the Story". Interestingly enough, people just want to hear stories. They want to hear a 3-minute movie that takes them from their world into another, where they live vicariously through the characters created by the songwriter. As writers, it's our job to paint a picture, with words, that pulls the listener into the story... here's one example...

Midnite at the Starlite, was dead as Sunday afternoon

Same old worn out faces, same old worn out tune

Just about to pay his tab, when she came through the door

And every eye in the Starlite lounge watched her walk across the floor...
